La Finca Golf
La Finca Golf Course in Spain is every golfer’s dream. With luxurious housing, a friendly and accommodating clubhouse, a top quality champion course that’s nestled amongst mountains and the coast, it’s a true paradise. The climate is one of the best in Europe and even better for playing golf, all year round.
It to be the pick of the golf courses in the Alicante area. Relatively young in years(2002) but already developed enough to test the best golfers while still being eminently playable for the beginner. The course is long and there is plenty of water, so a good supply of golf balls and probably a buggy is recommended.Lakes and natural running water abound as do the wildlife and add to this the backdrop of the Mount escotera and you have a must play golf course for the golf minded traveller.
The nearly 6500 yard course has been designed for tournaments. The natural setting not only provides majestic views of lakes, trees and mountains but it also challenges and makes the game more exciting, including have to hit a ball on an island green on the fifth. Visit many of the other neighboring golf courses when you have completed a round at La Finca. Or perhaps visit the towns of nearby Algorfa and Orihuela. La Torre Golf
At this 18-hole, Par 68, Jack Nicklaus design golf course you will enjoy a beautiful club house, hotel, a pro shop, driving range and if needed, a golf school.
The La Torre golf resort is the second project in the Nicklaus Golf Trail, it covers over 5 hectares Spite of being “only” Par 68. The strategically placed bunkers ensure players are kept entertained, and features three lakes and are accompanied by lush surroundings. The 9th & 11th holes are a Par 3 , and require strong nerves as on both of these holes you have to drive your ball over a lake to get to the green.
The shorter length of La Torre makes the golf course more playable for the average to higher-handicap players but at the same time, the golf course requires a great deal of strategy, so when playing the back tees, the course will still be very interesting to experienced players who will enjoy the wide variety of shots to successfully play the course.

Lo Romero Golf
Lo Romero Golf course is located close to the coastal town of Pilar de la Horadada, on the border of Murcia Province and Alicante.
It is an 18 hole, par 72 course, with a practice range and a temporary clubhouse. The course was officially opened on January 26th 2008. The course is set in a beautiful landscape, surrounded by orange and lemon tree plantations. The course in general has a very interesting and appealing design, requiring the players to use all of their abilities and clubs in the bags. There are 57 bunkers in total alongside eight water filled lakes and three further dry lakes to contend with.
On the first nine holes players will encounter a very soothing environment kind of lulling them into a false sense of security. All the fairways have a good mixture of wide open , then some narrow , with some dog legs both left and right . The greens are also large but without excessive falls. The back nine is more excitable and is constructed between the many pine trees and local fauna. The signature hole 18th par 4, 370 metre hole enjoys a high tee position and will be conditioned by the strong “Levante” winds. The fall of the ball is protected by two large bunkers and your second shot will demand precision and accuracy. The green itself is a 731M2 faultless island and does not need the player to be excessive in any way, and will test the nerves of every golfer.

Mar Menor Golf
Originally the golf course was designed by Dave Thomas as a 9-hole course, however Mar Menor is now set to extend its golf course from 9 to 18 holes.
With the new extension to this popular development it will eventually boast a Jack Nicklaus 18 hole golf course, a sports centre, tennis courts and a new commercial centre. The Mar Menor Golf Resort is located on the site of a former citrus orchard, and is designed around the focal point of the social and leisure centre and the main club house. The whole development is in secluded private surroundings with 24-hour security. There are wide avenues and streets linking gardens to parks and golfing greens.
The whole development uses an ecological friendly watering system with recycled water. The course itself is very popular with all our golfers in the Mar Menor area, and even though it is only 9 holes does not take away from the enjoyment of this beautiful course. The good point of this course is that you get a second chance to make up for any mistakes the first time round. Though this course is 9 holes at present it is as enjoyable to play as any 18 holes in the area.

Paraleja Golf
Peraleja Golf Resort features a beautiful 18 hole Championship golf course designed by Spanish golfing legend Seve Ballesteros, modern clubhouse,
The first Hacienda del Alamo golf course is masterly, thanks to the painstaking work of Dave Thomas, who had all the land he could want to design it, with this idea in mind: There are no limits. That is to say, first we made the “dream” field, with no restrictions on space, as if nothing else existed. And then, we used the same criteria with the houses: just enough of them so that the resort would have plenty of breathing room with broad open spaces. For this reason, our first golf course is one of the best in Europe. It is no less than 92 hectares.
Roda Golf Course is an excellent 18 hole, par 72 golf course exclusively designed by Dave Thomas, one of the most prestigious European golf designers.
The layout was created by combining different environments, and working for a total adaptation to the Mediterranean landscape and vegetation. For the last two years Roda Golf has been one of the most popular courses played in the Murcia region, it is a very fair course for all handicaps.
This delightful golf resort is managed by De Vere Hotels with Mike Maloney at the helm fresh from 14 years at The Belfry. You would expect something special and you will not be disappointed. An excellent design by Dave Thomas with a superb signature hole being the impressive 7th island par 3 surrounded by water. You will find many interesting and challenging holes on your adventure around Roda Golf & Beach Resort.

La Serena lies in the Municipality of Los Alcazares right next to the Mar Menor. Mainly flat, the main difficulty on the golf course will be the prevailing Levante wind and the many water hazards that come in to play along the course. The course which is not overly long, has a traditional structure. Accuracy off the tee is a must for the player, who must thread his way to the green amongst the clusters of bunkers, desert areas and water hazards.
